History

Many companies receive information from their customers and suppliers that is entered manually into their own ERP system. Often the information is printed or e-mailed from other ERP systems. Vegetable breeding companies are highly innovative enterprises, particularly in the development of new varieties for growers and consumers. These companies work with global producers of their seeds. Those breeding companies would like to know how the status of their crops and therefore they receive periodic crop reports. Often they receive these via mail, fax or phone. These crop reports are manually entered into their ERP system.

Crops Online

Crops Online is an online system, particularly developed for breeding companies, that can be used for automatically processing of crop reports. With this system, it's not necessary anymore for seed production companies to enter the crop reports manually in their ERP system. The growers can import the crop reports into Crops Online and the breeding companies can send those crops automatically from Crops Online to their own system.
This system provides the link between the ERP system of the growers and the ERP system of the breeding companies.
